A Question For People Who Are Picking Kessler Over Froch

Stylewise Froch is tailormade for Kessler. He's a come forward slowish fighter. I see this as an Andrade like contest. IF Kessler is back at full throttle. I think this is a distance fight, and I see Kessler taking it big.[/QUOTE]
But you could say the same thing about Kessler being tailormade for froch. Sorry but this is not going to be a ward - Kessler re-make
its going to be a pascal - froch re-make..Comment

Kessler and Froch both can take a punch, sure they can also be hurt at times they shown in their fights. Kessler was hurt to body by Calzaghe and I think Ward. But Froch isn't as fast as Calzaghe/Ward in my opinion but Froch has good timing though.
But you can say the same about how Taylor was outboxing and even had Froch a bit dazed when he knocked Froch on his ass. But then you saw Froch got back up and even though he was being outboxed he stopped Taylor late in 12th. This fight is a very intriguing one, none of you can just admit it goes either way!!Comment

Kessler's technical style is perfect to give Froch a hard time.
Froch ill find it difficult to get past the jab, and if Kessler boxes, similar to Taylor, then he will give Froch the toughest fight he has ever had.
Kessler does sometimes war it out, but he knows it's time to win smart.
There's isn't anything I feel that Froch does better than Kessler IMO. Some may be equal, but Kessler is superior over all.
I just hope that Kessler is on form. He has seemed to lack something since coming back after that Calzaghe defeat.
Other than that, Froch is gonna feel the jab and right all day, unless he gets a KO. Kessler is a tough guy and I dunno whetehr he can do that so that's why my points are on him.
A technical fighter who jabs and is strong will beat an open brawler without speed who is strong.Comment

I really think this is a really good point. If Froch were allowed to bodyslam kessler like he did Dirrell or headbutt Kessler until stoppage like Ward, No, I wouldn't pick Kessler to win. It's not as much the hometown judges and the hometown fans. It's the REFEREE. A crooked referee can turn everything around.Would your prediction be different if the fight was happening in the UK?
So far all of the home fighters have won their bouts in the S6. Last time out we saw how Froch was able to rough up Dirrell without the ref doing anything about it, and how Ward was able to rough up Kessler.
I think it's fair to say that Froch is less likely to be able to hit and hold or rabbit punch with the fight taking place in Denmark.
Kessler's only 2 defeats have been away from home, and it's possible that the crowd will give him a boost that could see him through some tough moments.
Kessler is not a dirty fighter and I seriously doubt you'll be seeing any of this bull**** come fight night in Denmark. But the other way around I'm not so sure which would have me picking Froch were I to be a betting man.Comment

Maybe his confidence a little bit because he probably was 100 percent confident he was going to beat Calzaghe... Also, I've heard Kessler has alot of injuries with his back and I think later after the Calzaghe fight Kessler said he had a hand injury*which I guess means he has fragile hands but hell we all know Calzaghe always has hand injuries and fight through it.Comment

Like Andrade you say? I think Froch is a little more awkward in his way of fighting. He isn't afraid to brawl from every distance and he's a tough son of a... I think Kessler will have some problems. But of course, I'll be rooting for Kessler. It's not that big a difference in terms of jetlag and timezones. Still the crowd will be hostile, which will be worth only a little as both fighters has tried this before.
In my mind, and most others I think, there's a little doubt regarding Kessler. How will he mentally handle adversity following the beating he took from the hands and head from Ward? And what about those nasty cuts? Can they hold up for 12 tough rounds?
Froch is confident and ****y. How can he not be? He's had a great run. The best run of all SMW's. He wont quit, but he'll likely eat more shots than he did against Jermain Taylor.
