I think Mares is the underdog. As he should be. But shouldn't be over looked.

Abner Mares is great fighter but he is gonna get dominated.

Honestly man this will be a good title fight, Im rootin for Mares, I caught his last fight on tv like last week or the week before, recently... And im a fan, hopefully Mares can pull it off

I think Perez' experience in tough fights down the stretch will win him the fight, I think the fight would be pretty even heading into the last few rounds but Perez being in tough fights with Mabuza and Agbeko will carry him through. The fight should feature some excellent exchanges though, both guys come forward or stand their ground and let their hands go in bunches, not just recklessly but in great combinations.

Definitely not counting Mares out though, Mares is one of the best consistent body punchers in the sport right now, I really like the way he goes to the body then goes up to the head or the other way round, it'll be interesting to see how Perez responds to those body shots down the stretch.

make or break time for mares - i think my boy will do enough in the early rounds to secure the win inspite of perez's fulldeck in the last rounds.

i got the underdog in this one. perez has the experience, but mares has the technique and patience to break perez down unlike king kong. also, despite their respective ko percentages, i think abner is the harder puncher especially in his left hook, body shots and uppercuts.
perez does have the ability to outbox mares from the outside but he always gets suckered into exchanges and wars.

mares keeps his style tight and punishes perez to the body en route to a bloody UD.
