When has Juan Urango been an easy fight for anybody? BetterI was not impressed with Devon's performance against Juan sans the uppercut. Urango is the most one dimensional top 140lb out there and he was starting to catch up to Devon. There's no doubt in my mind that Maidana would be able to catch up to him and he's also more skilled than Urango. Even if Devon landed another perfect uppercut Maidana has proven he can get up off the canvas. Maidana would methodically break him down and score the KO because I just don't think Devon is good enough to outbox him from the outside for 12 rounds.
yet, who has stopped Juan Urango? Berto couldn't even do it
at 147.Comment

You made it seem like since Urango is one dimensional
and Devon Alexander didn't beat him more dominately
threw the whole fight that it takes away from his win
on Urango? And my point was that Juan Urango
eventhough 1 dimensional has not made it that easy
to expose him and Alexander did.Comment

The point is that because Urango was able to touch Devon up some and was starting to catch up to him Maidana would be able to do so as well. Maidana is a better all around fighter than Urango IMO. And, I don't think Urango was "exposed"; he's been the same fighter pretty much since I first saw him against Andre Eason. Devon simply hit him with a monstrous shot...not unlike the monstrous shot that Randall Bailey landed on Urango; though this time Juan wasn't able to recover from it. It was hardly an exposure...you know why? Because this isn't the first time Urango has tasted defeat. Devon did what Ricky Hatton, Andre Berto, and, IMO, Ben Rabah already did to him...BEAT HIM.You made it seem like since Urango is one dimensional

and Alexander was the one to do it so, Alexander is not
in the category as the rest of the fighters who just beat him.Comment

Seems Alexander wants to go after Khan, wouldn't beating Maidana make Alexander Khans mandatory?Comment

People are giving Alexander too much credit for this Urango fight, Urango was a perfect style made for Alexander, everybody talks about the impressive uppercut which was impressive, but it was there for him all fight. Urango being one dimensional who is horrible at cutting off the ring was able to land very often on Alexander, which i thought Alexander was taking alot of unecessary shots, his defense is very questionable.. Now if he plans on taking on Maidana or Bradley in the future he gonna haveto work on that defense quickly cause its gonna cost him...Comment
