it has nothing to do with bradley being avoided. its just bad timing on his part.
Bradley called out maidana after his win win ortiz, also called out Devon after his win with wittier also khan after his win with salita, none of them stepped up to the plate.. It's funny how Devon mentions Bradley name after he already signed the fight with abregu.. these guys instead of choosing Bradley, chose other opponents, that's why bradley is fighting at 147 next...

dude, i know this. i basically already said that in this thread.
im just explaining why an alexander/maidana fight is being discussed now. neither have anything imminent on their plate. them exploring a fight right now has nothing to do with bradley.

Alexander should be able to outbox him, but I want to see what happens if Maidana can land one.

man I'll never understand that either some of them only fight 2 times a year. Like him or hate him Pacquiao is probably the most active boxer against the best opposition.

I was not impressed with Devon's performance against Juan sans the uppercut. Urango is the most one dimensional top 140lb out there and he was starting to catch up to Devon. There's no doubt in my mind that Maidana would be able to catch up to him and he's also more skilled than Urango. Even if Devon landed another perfect uppercut Maidana has proven he can get up off the canvas. Maidana would methodically break him down and score the KO because I just don't think Devon is good enough to outbox him from the outside for 12 rounds.

Champ. August is usually a dead month in Boxing, with not very many(if ANY) quality matches being televised. I'd be willing to bet that they picked August to maximize the amount of viewers who will be fiending for a damn good and highly competetive Boxing match during the "normally" dry months(for Boxing) of July and August.
