Does Marg fighting at 154 next show proof to the weight drained vs. Shane rumors?

That's pure bs. If I remember correctly, Margarito weighed in 146 that night and Shane initially weighed in over at 148, but made 147 his second attempt. So if anyone had trouble making weight, it was Mosley and he still beat that ass.Comment

Margarito made 147 on the first try and Mosley had to weigh like two times. So this excuse is weak and it makes me hate Margarito even more.Comment

[QUOTE=IMDAZED;7943606]I think Margarito DID underestimate Mosley (who didn't?) and probably isn't even the same after that Cotto bout. He may have had trouble making weight (he's been a welter since he was 18) but no one forced him into the ring. No excuses. He got his a** royally whooped.[/QUOTE
obviously he didn't underestimated Mosley when he tried to fight mosley with bricks in his hands.Comment

Margarito was mentally ****ed when he stepped into the ring against shane. Not trying to discredit shane but how can you be right when you just got busted trying to commit the worst sin in boxing minutes earlier. again it wouldn't have mattered anyway who knows?Comment

Wow is that right? If so that really is brilliant.
And I think Tony fighting at 154 is just due to him not fighting for a while and getting his body used to cutting weight like that gradually. It's the right thing to do.
And I've said it once and I'll say it again...I think on July 26th, 2008 Margarito and Cotto ended each others' careers at the elite level. Although with Margarito it may have been more of a gradual thing from all of his brutal fights.Comment
