Does Marg fighting at 154 next show proof to the weight drained vs. Shane rumors?

    He got hollow bones.
He will make 147 his next fight i think.

He wasn't weight drained against Mosley he got his ass kicked that's all IMO.

Tony admitted making 147 was a problem for the Mosley fight.I dont know if he's using that as an excuse he lost but his body language gave me the impression he was weight drained.

I don't know, it's been a while since he last fought, so maybe his body can't make 147 as of now. But Mosley simply won, because of his style and game plan.

maybe it was the lack of concrete in his gloves that made him 2 pounds lighter....i dunno..i'm just saying....

Not really, he has been off for a while has fought at 154 before moved down to 147 again and looked good after.

Even if he was drained and it could be proven it doesn't lessen Shane's win because it would be Tony's fault for signing up for a fight he couldn't safely make weight for.

Margarito also took some damage in the cotto fight so i wouldnt actually point to the weight excuse, He wasnt having any trouble making weight according to what i read, But he came in to camp heavier than he normally does when not in camp.

I don't think he was necessarily weight drained in the traditional sense i.e Delahoya vs. Packy.

What I heard around the campfire is that he partied too much after the Cotto fight, blew up to almost 200 pounds and lost the weight too fast for the Mosley fight.

Thats why his body looked different than usual.

No it doesn't but I did think he was drained or something. He looked pale and didn't have that energy, and that was before taking punishment from Shane. I thought he looked a bit like Oscar, when he fought Manny.

yeah and the damage from the cotto fight , even though it appeared not to effect him, it must have though. not discrediting Shane , I just personally think he has been praised to much for the win, either way it was a good win.
