**** that. Let the Super Six continue in peace. Dirrell got his 2 points, he wasn't going to get the KO anyway.

Kevin Iole is way off. Giving a suspension because of a foul would be a first.

Daiki Kameda was suspended because of his fouling against Daisuke Naito. So it wouldn't be a first, but it isn't warranted here. I disagree with Iole.

Nah. It was a bad foul but he got the DQ ruled against him so I think it should just be left at that.

no need for the suspension, Abraham just got lost in the moment

the boxing lesson dirrell gave him, coupled with the loss, is enough punishment

I have to agree with him. This is a professional sport. As a professional, you gotta have a professional composure at all times. Furthermore as a professional, if you see someone on a knee you know not to hit them. Being in the moment is NOT AN EXCUSE FOR A PROFESSIONAL. He could have really, really hurt Direll. I'm not even a fan of either fighter, but I do agree with the article.

Dirrell slipped on water in Abraham’s corner and was on one knee. Abraham wound up and swung as hard as he could, hitting Dirrell on the jaw. Referee Laurence Cole immediately disqualified Abraham."

its too bad that it happened but does anybody remember when barrett hit haye while he was on his ass with his hands behind his back? nobody wanted barretts head for that and haye was hurt by it too. its not the first time its happened, fighters keep throwing after the bell from time to time and dont get suspended for it, its boxing , punches are being thrown and sometimes this happens.

you have a point actually but it's hard to take the article seriously when it's not exactly from a neutral source

Both found a way out, Dirrell got the win just when Abraham was starting to be dangerous and Abraham got DQ'd so he can ask for a rematch and say "it wasn't a real loss".
