    Kevin Iole: "Abraham should be SUSPENDED by at least six months"



    "Arthur Abraham should be suspended for a minimum of six months for the heinous foul he committed on Andre Dirrell in the 11th round of their super middleweight bout on Saturday at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Dirrell slipped on water in Abraham’s corner and was on one knee. Abraham wound up and swung as hard as he could, hitting Dirrell on the jaw. Referee Laurence Cole immediately disqualified Abraham."

      Nah I don't think that is needed, now maybe Laurence Cole should be suspended six month I could agree to that.

          Maybe with further review, but i don't think he should be suspended in this case. Then you open the door for possible suspension everytime a fighter gets hit after he slips. I think it needs to be situational, and if he becomes a repeat offender then i'll say go ahead and issue a suspension, but I think it was a late hit, he may have lost his composure but i honestly think it was an accident, i think he was seizing an opportunity without rally thinking about it.

                                  WTF? Margarito got suspended only 1 year for loaded gloves that could've killed someone hitting them with bricks for 12 rounds. Get over it already.
