Toney should have been banned from boxing based on the fact that his ****** decision, or ignorance, or whatever, gave us back John Ruiz as HW champion...plus since Ruiz tried a different style and lost he'll probably grapple even more than before...blah... Toney gets a big for that...too bad too because he looked good in the Ruiz fight...

      THATS SOME REAL BULL****

      They just hate Mike Tyson
Because it's banned in America? Gee, now that I think of it, it really DOESN'T make sense that they'd ban an illegal substance from boxing...

When I smoked a joint in Detroit [before the Andrew Golota fight], they fined me $250,000. That's not an enhancement drug, that's a de-hancement drug. I smoked a joint before the fight, this guy did steroids and they only fined him $10,000? I don't know, maybe it's just me. Imagine if I didn't smoke that joint? I might have lost. I might not have showed up!"

True. Just like if it was someone other then Artest in the stands they wouldn't have been banned for a whole season.

IF TYSON TOOK ROIDS! he would have never got to fight ever in his entire life!!! Tyson really has more people against him mainly POLITICIANS they feel if they go against a guy like tyson who has an image of a rough thug who abuses women and is an animal it will make them some sorta good person sad but true.

                Hmm...I dunno about that.

If it was Rasheed Wallace from back in the Portland Trailblazers days, he would have probably been banned from the league for life.

They use to give the guy technicals for looking at the refs the wrong way.

tyson always gets a raw deal, everybody expects him to always be the bad guy, Robin Givens lies about him on national tv, everyone believes it, then there's the "****" charge, and having Don King screwing with his head for all those years after losing the only father he's ever had. tyson has a right to be pissed off because all these mother****ers that say he's an animal have spent years milking him for everything they can get

Yeah, I mean, when you really look at Tyson's life, you can't help but feel bad for him. Even with all the fame and fortune, he's had a TERRIBLE life. Aside from Gus (or is it Cus?), there was no one who really cared about him. He was a cashcow to King, and King ****d him for his money. That ****** ***** he got charged for **** against was just in it for money: I really don't think he ****d her. He's gotten ****ed by so many people, it's really sad.

Also, to ThaGreatest, when looking at it in terms of roids v weed, yeah 250k is a lot for a drug that doesn't do anything but make the fight harder, but it's not that bad. They could have arrested him, or banned him, or something. If Toney did do roids, and it wasn't a chance combination of things, he should be appealing this case. If he doesn't, then the punishment he got was WAY too light. It's like the **** in baseball, only roids REALLY help in baseball (Bonds, Sosa, McGuire, etc), but that's another discussion.
