Great interview. Sadly, he's right.
Hopkins comments about floyd.

Good knowledge by BHop, but he would never say this **** or the things he said about Floyd in an interview to his face.
I don't give a **** what boxers do outside of boxing as long as they don't commit crimes.Comment

Maybe, but if Hopkins really feels this way and has all of this to say about Floyd's poor lifestyle then why doesn't he sit Floyd down and have a heart to heart about what being "from the streets" really means and how he should save his money and not flaunt it because he might offend older people. While Hopkins does have some valid points, I do not for one second think that Mayweather should live his life the way Hopkins wishes for him to live his life.
I don't know man, he just comes off as one of those adults who love to remind you about how hard their life was, how easy it is for this generation, you know "You kids don't know how easy you have it. When I was young, I had to walk to school, in the snow! Uphill! Both ways!". And I like B-hop but here he is sounding like a grumpy old man.Comment

i think Hopkins is waaay tougher than Mayweather anyways. Them Lifers woulda eaten Floyd's pretty ass in the pen. Hopkins even had a legacy in the Feds. Prison Champ and *****. You know, but behind the curtain i think they're all really civil wit each other. Like that whole ***** talking between Mosley and Mayweather? It's not for show, but it's not fueled by anger either. It's just the older crowd vs. the younger generation. It's aiite. Adds flavor that's all.
I agree B-Hop is tougher than PBF but why post the bold when it is wrong. B-Hop never went to the Feds he was in a state facility. Don't make **** out to be more than it is. I respect any man that can do his own time regardless of its a state pen or the Feds.Comment

What makes you assume this? B-hop seems like the kind of bloke who would say what he thinks to anybody's face. He got up in the ring and started shredding him. What you say makes no sense.Comment

Of course he did. And was probably thinking in his head what he told the reporter. Should he have told the reporter? I don't know. But there's nothing wrong with his stance at all - in fact, I think Floyd's own family members complain about this all the time...a lot of time to the press!Comment

How do you know he hasn't? Or how do you know Floyd would listen? Oscar de la hoya and Sugar Ray Leonard tried to sit down with floyd and offer him sound advice and floyd didn't want to listen, he chose the opposite path, which is his right as a man, it's his life. But there have been plenty of very respectable people that offered advice to floyd, bernard knows that.Maybe, but if Hopkins really feels this way and has all of this to say about Floyd's poor lifestyle then why doesn't he sit Floyd down and have a heart to heart about what being "from the streets" really means and how he should save his money and not flaunt it because he might offend older people. I know what you mean. But he thew Floyd clean under the bus. Id love to know what this whole beef is about. Hops seemed pretty animated in the ring with Mosley that day.Of course he did. Hops couldve sat Floyd down and kicked with him on some man to man ****.Comment
