i swear like some amusement places have these kind of machines and when u hit it the counter goes round the clock and it makes all these weird noises and lights start flashing if u absolutely smashed it.

Even if all the fighters were tested using a machine it still doesn't give a true representation of punching power. Why is it that a guy takes a crushing blow and walks right thru it only to be knocked cold by a lesser appearing shot? Why is it that George Foreman just touches people and they go down like they were shot, but another fighter can tee off and nothing happens? Tyson's punches look more powerful, but George hits harder. Why? Who knows, it's a mystery inside a riddle wrapped in an enigma.

1000 psi isn't as hard as you think it is.

They tested everybody in the Heavyweight Divison back in 97 or something and Correry Sanders pulled WAYYYYYYY more than that, and way more than anyone else in the divison.

I don't think anyone has been tested since.

^it is a term in boxing called HEAVY HANDS! but you also have to take into consideration alot of thse fast powerful punches tyson throws landed clean the opponents would be down and out, foreman has heavy hands but he has one important key ACCURACY he landes them smack dab on the kisser some say he punches harder then when he was younger.IT also is all in the delivery of the punch but most importantly landing it in the right place.Foreman Keeps his feet planted at all times unlike when he was older therefore all that weight is delivered in one punch.

Rocky Marciano legitmately is at least in the top 5 hardest heavywieght punches of all time he fought low and in angles and through each punch with bad intention he was only like 186 pounds but his delivery allowed for a very powerful punch it is all in the delivery as well.Marciano literly sat down on his punches he punched like he was pitching a fast ball.

As far as sheer kinetic energy, Marciano (and several other heavyweights, I think) would probably pack even more wallop than a rifle bullet, like a 7.62 or something close to that size. Not more than a .50 cal, of course, that's a ****ing devastating weapon, but then again, it's not really a rifle calibre, it's a heavy MG.
