Danny WIlliams fought a great fight. He took alot of flush punches and carried on fighting. Prime Tyson would have beaten Williams real bad no doubt. Even WIlliams admitted this fact. Vitali showed how easy it is to outbox him in his very next bout.

I never thought Tyson would KO Danny in the 1st if it hadent been for the knee, but i do think he woulda had a better chance to KO him after the 1st, if u watch the fight you can see at times the way Tyson throws that he is not using his legs. But when its all said and done he lost, Tyson takes his losses like a man, unlike Roy Jones, i have never herd Tyson make any excuses for any loss, only his fans, he did say his knee was hurt in that fight though, which was true cuz he needed surgery, but i dont recall him making any excuses. I do believe he would win in a rematch.

Jack, I haven't got a problem with Tyson, and the topic wasn't whether Tyson would have KOed him or not... just would he have KOed him in the first round like many say?

Most paint it as Williams in dire trouble from an uppercut then the knee getting him off the KO hook. The reality is slightly different.

If Tyson beats McBride, what do you think the chances are of seeing a Tyson Williams rematch?

Would people want it? I thought Williams was regarded as a bum who got lucky and was obliterated by Vitali?

Surely Tyson's followers would clamour for contendership fights... fights I can no longer see him winning. Sorry, but he's an old man.

Won't happen. Tyson will lose in his next two fights. He was a great fighter but his time has long gone.

I would lilke to see Tyson vs Williams and Tyson vs Holyfield before he gets anywhere near a title shot.

He didn't lose cause of the ref.

It was the time difference and how late the fight was.

He's not used to fighting in Louisville.

I don't reckon Tyson was all he was cracked up to be anyway... Cotto and Mayweather should take his place.
