How many points will Dirrell get?

    Well??

A decision is 2 points and a KO is 3. Nothing is said about a DQ.

    What do you think?

      Why?

We didn't go to the scorecards as we did in the Ward-Kessler fight.

He will get 2 I think... which means you could argue that Dirrell should have 4 point now.

It's gotta be 2. It's not a KO. It's a decision made by the referee. Basically like deducting all of the DQed fighters points and ending the fight.

Or you could argue that it's like a cut caused by a punch and that counts as 3. Or you could argue that it's like a cut caused by a headbutt which counts as 2.

However you want to argue it I vote 2 points for the winner, -1 point for the DQed fighter.

Why, Dirrell was winning on points by quite a bit, why should he lose out on a point because of AA making an illegal move and getting DQ'd?

It's not that I want to argue for this or that. I just don't know the answer.

Last part is difficult as the recordbooks state the Froch fight as a loss.

I don't mean argue in the internet sense, I mean it as in "debate" or "find reason for".

Overall I think you have to give the winner 2 points as it is not a knockout but a decision, and since this is a tournament fight the DQed fighter should be penalized and therefor lose 1 point.
