I think the reason some of us think he did that is because he looked very exhausted in the 10th and 11th round before he slipped and Abraham got dq'd for hitting him while he was on the canvas. I mean the fight seemed like it did a 180 in round 10 where Dirrell was knocked down on the canvas and he just didn't look like the Dirrell from the previous 9 rounds in my opinion.

He was slowing down a bit and AA was getting closer but c'mon, he wasn't exausted now.

Dirrell could have done nothing for the last minute of the 11th and the entire 12th and still won a wide UD if he didn't get caught.

Even if he was that tired, too many circumstances have to go just right all while he very quickly thought up a way about getting out of the fight, at the same time while engaging in defensive movements, throwing punches, controlling his breathing, and concentrating on numerous other things that you must do in a fight.

You never know, hopefully they can have a rematch so Dirrell can settle the score once and for all. Wouldn't he like to get revenge for the way AA did him like that?

Maybe... but both guys have at least one more fight lined up, and both will probably end up clearing to outrounds, so... it'll be a long time before a rematch happens, unless they meet in outrounds.

These two hate each other, what a beautiful rematch it will be. They're going to want to kill each other... Damn, I can't believe I love violence so much! If I get off on watching violence, I wonder if any of these fighters get off on violence since it is their job! Thankfully Dirrells alright though, would have been ashame if he got seriously hurt. I mean yeah it was scary for a second when he was convulsing on the floor but turns out they think he is alright...

Too much emotional nonsense being posted here on both sides of the debate. I can see why people would say he was faking it,but the point is moot as it was a fair DQ. I would give Dirrell the benefit of any doubt because he was miles ahead and being in his home town with all his family and friends there I am sure he wouldnt have wanted the fight to end or be awarded the victory in that fashion.

People calling AA a disgrace for the foul are equally as ******. This is boxing,go watch in real time again. It happened very quickly, wasnt a particularly hard shot, and contrary to a lot of the garbage posted here, wasnt flush. This in no way excuses AA,he got what he deserved which was a loss. Pretty foolish as he was starting to tag Andre who had fought at an incredible pace and fought brilliantly but looked in trouble in round ten and was unsurprisingly starting to tire.

I hate to say it but he's right..I've seen the replay and abraham was in the wrong..that dude was on his knees then he came and hit him with the biggest shot..i know it's hard for abraham supporters to swallow it but it is what it is..and why do I give a fu** anyway..I'm a felix sturm supporter.

Abraham needed knockout and was going balls out. i dont think he did it on purpose but thats beside the point u can't hit people when their down. so he was dq

now a person that should have been dq was barrera in that marquez fight he did that on purpose
