    i dont take zaveck as a fighter who's concerned about fighting notable fighters.
    HBO would never pick up guzman/zaveck.

    theres no incentive at all for zaveck. im sure he knows hes a marked man and will continue doing what hes doing unless a BIGGER name comes calling.

        Or maybe he will just do the Felix Sturm thing and stay at home fighting whoever the IBF wants him to fight....still it looks like Guzman might have to fight at WW from now on and I think its a very winnable fight for him should he rack up a few wins and the IBF ranks him as a mando opponent.

          i see zaveck doing that.
          otherwise, guzman would have to get to him first, which i doubt he can. there are far more attractive names currently at WW or coming up that would provide a bigger name.
          if zaveck doesnt follow the sturm plan, he'd be a sitting duck and guzman would have to get in line.
