Refs don't have slow motion replays they see the fight in real time , which is why it could have gone either way. I can definiately see certain refs calling this a knockdown.

Like I said they cancel eachother out really.

But at the end of the day, it's all trivial as neither knockdown mattered.

abraham's KD was MUCH more clearer than that. even in your sped up gif you can see that dirrell cuffed him. you can see the whole outer part of his glove.

I thought this was a definate knock-down, and the one where Abraham fell onto the ropes was more of a push upon closer inspection.

I think the referee saw the foot behind Dirrell's, and the slight amount of contact between the two, but... I think it was the wrong call.

I feel like the punch would have put him down whether Abraham's foot made that small amount of contact or not.

not questionable at all. its similar to dirrell's KD.
one fighter is off-balance and a solid punch puts em down.
both were legit KDs.

Dirrell isn't dropping without that punch, even if AA foot weren't there, he would have dropped.
