If Khan can keep Maidana on the outside, he would beat him comfortably by decision or possibly by late TKO/KO.

Khan would still lose though, I don't like that guy.
Roach might demand the use of headgear for this fight.

      Or 16 oz gloves.

Kotelnik beat Maidana and he didn't run once.

I don't know about Khan though tbh.

Well maybe Khan hits a little harder than cayo but it is still not enough to drop maidana unless he lands a good combo...Ortiz can beat maidana in a rematch for sure...but I think Khan would lose to maidana simply because Khan wouldn't be able to stop maidana fast....if khan can get past maidana in 7 rounds then I'm sure khan can stop him...if Khan goes 8 and above he will get caught because maidana doesn't stop throwing...

This. Everybody keeps on hyping Maidana up. The dude lost from a flat footed Kotelnik. Kotelnik won because he dint go toe-to-toe with him. Imagine what a versatile boxer will do to Maidana.

To answer the thread question -

Khan can stop Maidana coming forward with his -

              Great Jab
              Amazing handspeed
              Good power
              Combinations

Khan is better than Ortiz in every dimention, except from the chin department, and Ortiz gave Maidana hell for 3 rounds. Khan will give Maidana more trouble that Ortiz ever could. Saying that, Maidana always has a punchers chance, even if Khan's defence is much improved.

Dont get in too many exchanges with Maidana if you're Khan, Jab and box him with good movement, If you hurt him do not jump on him, Take your time and pace yourself for the later rounds when Maidana would be desperate.

Lmao, I forgot about Roach.. Yeah no way the fight happens until Maidana makes a bigger name for himself, That way even if he KO Khan it wouldnt be a big deal.

                    I'd say movement most likely.

He even said in the post-fight interview that he found it incredibly difficult to unload his arsenal on Cayo whenever he moved around. So I take it a good boxer should be able to get the job done.
