Lucian Bute vs. Andre Dirrell

I think Bute has the speed and offensive technique, plus the defense to beat a guy like Dirrell. AA was tailor made fore Dirrell, I saw that the minute I looked at each of their last fights and bet on Andre. Bute, on the other hand, is the opposite of Abraham, a quick, cautious southpaw who still packs a solid punch. If you doubt his power, ask Librado Andrade.

Anyway, I got Bute by late KO or UD. Would probably be a **** fight, but I think it would be a good battle of speed and skill.

Dirrell has mental handicaps, I can't put my finger on it but I feel thus far he's gotten by on raw talent, which he has in spades. But someone with a combination of speed and power can beat him. Ward will be the first to beat him.

As I stated on the other topic, its hard to choose right now. I need to see more of Bute, and I will judge him on his performance against a Miranda who I feel is a faded version of Miranda. Kelly Pavlik fought the best version of Miranda in my opinion, Pavlik ruined Miranda in my opinion. Bute is not just a boxer but he can punch, so it should be a fun fight.

First man to stop Andrade, and Andrade might be limited but no one can deny he has great punch resistance. But you can also bring up the case that Andrade has a style that causes him to take too much damage in fights and that Bute fought Andrade when Andrades punch resistance had started to go. That armor of a fighter only lasts so long, especially fighters who get hit alot.

I think overall he has the best body of work in the whole Super 6. The only one who comes close to the body of work at 168 is Froch.

What has Froch proved?

no one has singled there self out as the top guy. The top guy at 168 will be the winner of the super six. Bute isn't even in the discussion IMO. If he beats the winner, then i give him props, but he will be fighting nobodies for the next 2 years. So who gives a ****.
