He was no where close to getting kayoed. I don't get why people keep saying he wouldn't last 4 more minutes. AA was pressing but he wasn't landing anything that would put Dirrell into any type of trouble and even if he did Dirrell would of just kept moving. He would of lasted the rest of the fight.
Dirrel was gone before he got hit with the shot he did.

You honestly going to try and bull**** everyone and say Dirrell didn't look fatigue even though he was clearly moving much slower and AA was getting to him at times? And Dirrells work-rate dramatically dropped low... Who are you fooling buddy? The cameras don't lie!He was no where close to getting kayoed. Dirrell was constantly off balanced in the 10th and 11th rounds because of AA's pressure. Dirrells footwork was cracking and badly.Comment

what the hell were you watching?the 7 punches AA did manage to land clean, dirrel took just fine.nothing to suggest he would fold.AA got outclasses.i hope he gets suspendedI don't understand why anybody in their right mind think that Dirrel would've won that fight if Abraham hadn't have went off the deep end the way he did. I had Abraham down by quite a bit, but Dirrel was landing a lot of punches on his gloves and that's just Abraham's style to come on later in a fight. Dirrel's stamina and chin would've let him down before that fight ended. We can agree to disagree.Comment

Agreed, Dirrell landed clean on Abraham when Abraham WAS ALREADY OFF BALANCE in the fourth round, rightfully called a knockdown. In the eleventh, Abraham clearly hit Dirrell with a jab, Dirrell slipped but the jab is what sent him down, leading to the foul. The motherfucker got knocked on his ass for Christ sakes even if their feet did get tangled up and he could barely stand on his feet after that. Some people are just so blind on here I don't know what to say. Anybody who says Dirrel didn't get hit in the 11th round is an idiot.Comment

anyone who's watched Abraham's fights knows he can finish. Dirrell wasn't as sharp in the 10th as he was throughout the fight, and Abraham was closing the distance. Andre went from holding his ground, boxing, to full on retreat. For the first time in the fight Abraham was cutting off the ring effectively, and Dirrell tripped over his ice skates. 4 min was enough time to escape Arthur's power, but it didnt look good for Andre. that right hand in the 10th buzzed Andre. Abraham was on the hunt, and it's unfortunate that the fight ended in the fashion it did, since i think Arthur's chances of scoring another late TKO/ KO were very good.Comment

Dirrell fought in a south paw stance for most of the bout, and had success with the left cross, and lead left hands. When he's pressured, it looks like he has a hard time choosing between south paw and orthodox. anyone with KO power like Abraham, Froch, Kessler, and even Green won't get a chance to score a knockdown because he'll fall to ground before it happens.Comment

Yep. That's the truth. I agree with what you said 100%. Maybe i misunderstood your other post. AA need to lean how to let his hands go earlier..no sense in guarding up to the last minute, literally giving rounds away. I hope he learned his lesson. But i must say i was impressed by Dirells performance in the ealier rounds. But that's because AA gave it too him. AA coulda taken Dirells head off at anytime if he really trained to.i have no problem with fighter taking their time to 'feel' out but waiting til the 10th is just ******...i felt that, going INTO your opponent's hometown, he couldnt afford that luxury of waiting so long
he was flirting with disaster Jaz...he waited so long and when he decided to go on full chase, he was leaving himself open for counter fire...i too was hoping that he would catch Dirrell but i knew he was gonna run for dear life in that last round
Anybody else think Direll looked very intimidated before the fight? Lol. Dirells decline started late in the 10th When the sleeping giant woke the *** up.Comment
