He did a great job in my opinion. He had a lot to handle that fight. It was pretty much only fair through natural events that the second time Abraham got knocked down, he didn't call it, so why are people complaining about when Abraham knocked Dirrell down through a slip? It's no different. Dirrell couldn't get his foot back underneath due to the trip, it could have been called either way and people would've been bitching. Abraham measuring, Dirrell pushing with his elbows, the low blows that were for the most part caused by Abraham himself. His fast reaction to see if Dirrell was fine. People think he's biased, and these to fighters are no strangers to referee's having to get involved, it's almost inevitable. I think Cole did a great job and no other ref would have done better.

Lawrence Cole is the only referrer that TS have known so far so give the TS his chance to express himself....

In other news, Lawrence Cole sucks...

sad to say chillin, you will never convince me or my eyes and wits about this one. glad to see you really stick to your guns, but for the hundredth time i've seen this knockdown and the cheap shot, it's still a legit knock down that was missed and AA took a cheap shot, which wasn't AA's biggest punch of the night either.....

coles body of work is really disgusting over the years, i advise you watch any and all of his fights that he's ref'd, you will be bothered by his incompetence. i shudder every time i see him in the ring. if you like what he does, then you must not like fair and balanced refereeing and must be amused at the slow destruction of boxing's credibility with this guy........ seriously watch his fights, it's sickening..........
Much respect...I know you bringing up all his past fights but im not talking about his past fights, im only talking about this fight only, i know he's been **** referee from the beginning but I really thought this fight was his better refereed fight by far...i never said it was a perfect refereed fight to begin with but people keep bashing this dude like he the reason AA lost. There was no favortism in this fight, if he did miss a call on a the KD, well both fighters didn't get the call so it wouldn't of made a difference..both fighters were warned early about measuring and pushing off with the forearms. AA was given time to rest on a very questionable low blow..AA received a good treatment in the corner by the doctor..i mean how is this favortism..overall i think Cole did a good job...

I just caught the fight tonight. I think he did a horrible job. He had no control over that fight. Everytime something happened, he was far away from the action. Also, why'd he keep calling Andre, Anthony? And then his reaction to the Dirrell slip; Dude was smiling and looking at him like a homie or something.

I agree, he did a good job.

The only questionable things were the second dirrell knockdown he scored on abraham, which honestly even after watching it several times since it's hard to say and the AA knockdown of dirrell, although like the TS stated the instant reply did show they're feet were tangled.

Other than that he did a fine job.

every time i felt like there is gonna be action now, cole stepped in and detroyed AA's rhythm.
abrahams disqualification was justified, while calling time out because of a little cut was absurd.
dirrell was the better man that night, but AA is better than what he showed yesterday.
it was definitely not only dirrells style which caused so much troubles to him.
i hope AA forgets his first loss quickly, and comes back strong in his next fight.

You were talking about this rhythm from AA
