See link for his agency. Seems like a conflict of interest to me yet not many complain.
That is interesting I don't think it seems like a conflict of interests because he does not want anyone to get hurt and if he is ref and insuring the fights he should never have to pay out atleast pay out for anythign to serious.

That is kind of a grey area though, I would certainly say he is taking advantage of an oppurtunity.

Well if he is working for the promoter, that's what to me makes it a grey area.

But it's not even that. He's just a **** ref, most of us agree on that.

I really believe they should look at the ref's history when assigning someone for a fight of this magnitude like they do in other sports such as the NFL and MLB.

That's just for starters and that's a pretty bad start.
        a) missed one end of the 7th.. other clearly showed on the replay feet got tangled..
b)with Andre constant footwork and movement, its hard to get close, he would been in the way if he was any closer..
c)i didn't agree on the doctor taking so long look at the cut either. i clearly stated that
        d) Andre circled Abraham all fight, u want the ref to tell Andre to stop moving?

I'm not saying this was a perfect refereeing job Cole did, but from his recent fights i thought he did good job...it wasn't perfect but alot better 8 out of 10

those feet weren't tangled, dirrells foot was flat on the ground and only lifted up once he began to fall, watch it again.

Most people do not know refs by face, we all know Cole is not a good ref and to expect crazy **** to happean when he is in the ring. If someone is just looking at his championship experiance and what not plus he is probably always willing to travel to expand his insurence thing.

He is a bad ref though way to much crazy **** happeans, I am a firm believe that the ref should basically unnoticed and Cole gets noticed way to often.

                The referee was a joke.

-Missed a knockdown for Abraham (the punch hit before the feet)
-Ridiculously warned Abraham for slight pawing, letting Dirrell off the hook when he was in trouble.
-Allowed the doctor to spend around 2mins looking at and TREATING Abrahams cut
-Was too far away from the action to break up the fight when Dirrell slipped before the DQ.
-Didn't ensure that the corner was properly dried even after previous slips.

And you accept this level of refereeing for super fights like this?? Not good enough I'm afraid.

He wasn't able to slide his right foot back because Abrahams foot was behind Andre foot...it was a questionable call but you can't deny the fact that the feet came together

Those projectors are bad ass I've heard.

I believe they are pretty pricey though.
