Why didn't anyone in Dirrells corner contol the situation

You are allowed recovery time for a foul. Someone in Dirrell's corner should of took control over the situation, and let Andre take a breather. at the same time someone should of pulled the ref aside and assured Andre would continue and that they would much rather have a point deduction than stop the fight on a DQ. Did they really want to go out like that? Did Andre? i doubt it, but i guess like many of you are saying on here, a win is a win.

i don't care what anyone says. the final moments of this fight were very interesting. the momentum was cleraly swinging into Abrahams favor, and Dirrell looked like he was in a bit of trouble. i think he could have made it through TWO more rounds to become the new champ. i thought his reaction to the foul was a little late, and what followed was just weird.

His corner should have been more in control but it was a crazy situation people on his side were clearly excited because he won but Dirrell was clear messed up.

They shoudl have done a better job but it was an odd situation to be put into, plus it all happeaned so fast normally one side know deep down if their fighter is going to get taken out and this just came out of the blue.

Because Dirrell was KTFO and lying on the floor in need of medical attention. Im not sure he was in a state to continue 10 minutes later.

Ive never seen a boxer get so upset because he won by DQ after winning almost every round.

Also, Dirrell's brother seemed to think Andre had elbowed Dirrell and was severly pissed off.

You can't blame his corner here, they were concerned for there fighter... he was out cold for a brief moment... at least it shows they actually care about there fighter. After that Dirrell was way to weak to just catch breather and continue... he had to go to hospital straight away and everything... and he still wasn't right in the short interview about 5 minutes after it happened, if he had tried to catch a breather he would have been doing it for half an hour.

The situation was handled in the best way it possibly could, AA should of controlled himself and not hit him like that when he was on the floor.

He was that bad that it looked like he actually thought it lost the fight, when the interviewer quickly asked him a question afterwards (about 5-10 minutes) you could tell he was still dizzy and all that and he was saying "I got dropped man, I got knocked out!" whilst crying and his corner was trying to reassure him that he won by DQ... it was as if he didn't know what was happening.

The situation was handles as well as it could of, AA shouldn't be blaming AD saying he was acting, people shouldn't be blaming AD saying he was acting, AA should be blaming himself for not keeping his cool and swinging for him when he was down, maybe it was in the heat of the moment and he didn't mean too but that doesn't mean AD should get a no contest or something over getting hit when he was down when he was quite a lot ahead on the card. The funny thing is AA started applying some nice pressure at the end and there is a possibility that he could of got a last round stoppage or something, but he should of starting putting on the heat earlier IMO.

Anyway, you can't blame his corner for handling it the way they did, the situation was handled in the best way it can... at least it shown that his corner cares about there fighter.

This too, the corner are powerless about AA not getting DQ'd... that is all down to the referee and to be honest it was one of the only good calls he made last night.

yeah, they were so concerned that their fighter was hurt that they were shaking him like a ragdoll telling him he won the fight.

                  they knew the deal

I was hoping he started on AA and got KTFO
