He's good and is a dangerous fighter. I would call maidana to KO Khan personally. We'll see how Khan does against Paullie because after getting cleared by that dude prescott. I don't think he wants to **** with a guy like maidana. The 140 division is going to revamp boxing when Mayweather and Pac are gone.

I want to see him fight Urango. That'd be a slugfest and Urango would have a real chance to win that fight.

I personally think Urango would bust that ass on maidana but I wouldn't put money on that until i see how Urango bounces back from that nasty ass uppercut he got caught with.

I just can't see it. Of all three guys I think he would cause a bit of trouble to Bradley but I think Tim in the end does too much and keeps him at bay. Alexandar I think steam rolls him, not saying he is the best of the bunch(I don't think he is)but styles make fights. As for Khan it would be close for the early rounds but once he got settled in, tasted a bit of the power, I think Khan would box his ears off. Maidana is just not elite, you can only do so much with power in the sport.

He's going to have all three of those guys in trouble if he connects, especially Khan.

But I'd like to see Maidana in with someone a little better before I pass real judgement.

His power is special, but besides that I tend to agree that he's an average fighter, who somehow has a bigger than normal puncher's chance.

I think Alexander and Bradley easily outbox him. I think Khan would be too slick for him as well, but he'd obviously stand a strong chance against Khan.

I think Ortiz would have beaten him if he had a lick of defense.

The guy is pure slop and does nothing special. Alexandar, Bradley or Khan blitz cut this guy up. Before people start saying Cayo is good, get a hold of yourself because it's not true(at least not on an elite level). People get far to caught up with Maidanas power and forget about all the other things that a truly great fighter needs to be good for a long period of time. Kid can punch but the 3 headed horse in this division is made up of 3 fighters that have some special talent. Maidana is move of that tough gatekeeper guy. Solid but far from being one of the best.

No one said he was special. He's a tough power puncher who is never going to give up. There's always room for guys like Maidana as they will push other guys to fight his fight
