    Maidana is nothing special.

The guy is pure slop and does nothing special. Alexandar, Bradley or Khan blitz cut this guy up. Before people start saying Cayo is good, get a hold of yourself because it's not true(at least not on an elite level). People get far to caught up with Maidanas power and forget about all the other things that a truly great fighter needs to be good for a long period of time. Kid can punch but the 3 headed horse in this division is made up of 3 fighters that have some special talent. Maidana is move of that tough gatekeeper guy. Solid but far from being one of the best.

I think Maidana would cause all three more trouble then people realise.

Khan would most likely get ktfo. i doubt he could stay away from maidana's power for a full 12 rounds. It would be masterful perofrmance if he does though.

Maidana is probably the most entertaining guy at 140.

        He's always in exciting fights.

Therefore, he will get dates on HBO and Showtime because of this.

I just can't see it. Of all three guys I think he would cause a bit of trouble to Bradley but I think Tim in the end does too much and keeps him at bay. Alexandar I think steam rolls him, not saying he is the best of the bunch(I don't think he is)but styles make fights. As for Khan it would be close for the early rounds but once he got settled in, tasted a bit of the power, I think Khan would box his ears off. Maidana is just not elite, you can only do so much with power in the sport.

yup.. this is what i posted last night regarding both guys:

"no technique and no defense whatsoever. these guys won't make it too far as they only rely on power.. and not accurate and efficient power to be honest. too one dimensional, no depth in their styles."

power isnt the only thing he has. he has awkwardness, punching from odd angles and he is not that easy to hit. his peek-a-boo defense is pretty tight. the only time you can really hit him flush is in b/t his wild punches. granted, that happens a lot but still, when hes on the outside or not punching it aint that easy to hit him clean.

                    really good point, i agree.

yeah as far as his defense, it was better than cayo's but it's still nowhere near as good as it should be. he gets hit too much, more than he should. with a tad tweaked defense he'd be more dangerous at the division because it's clear the guy is a serious offensive threat.
