Cole has even been suspended in the past. It's easy to see why Dirrell's team wanted him for the fight, as a replacement for the Detroit referee.
AA overcame Cole like a true champion would by knocking Dirrell out.

Too bad he got robbed of a rightful win.

Hopefully they file a protest and overturn this "dq".

Yes, Abraham and his promoter need to stand up for themselves.

By crooked referees do you mean a ref who lets the fighter dictate to him what a low blow is every time he gets hit with a clean body shot?

That's like saying he needs to defend himself while sitting on his stool between rounds. dumbass

Black American boxers only fight in US because most of the time they can't win without home country advantage. They are only good if they are fighting in the US and if they are naturally bigger than their opponents.

                  Idiot.

You can't punch after the bell rings to end a round. That's a completely different situation.

But DURING a round a fighter needs to protect himself at all times.

Yet it happens in almost every fight and guys don't get dqed. Hitting a stationary target on the ground is ten times worse.

No they dont need them but they seem to get them anyways, probably something like insurance, you feel better when you have it,,,, just in case

Im not saying in any way the ward or dirrell didnt deserves their victories, they did

I wonder how much home advantage actually gives a fighter, by the looks of things it seems to be quite a lot and it really takes a big effort to get a win on the road, going by this tourney anyways even though dirrell did put in a decent performance away at frochs hometown and im sure would have won it had dirrell been at home. If AA was home for this one im sure he would have had a much better chance of walking down dirrell at some point imo especially late on
