You don't need to post, if all your motive is to just belittle a fighter who made your Danish hero look ridiculously bad that night!

You're going on as if a late punch is as bad as ear biting when what we saw last night happens all the time, it's a DQ and that's all.

so anytime a fighter is down clearly on points he could just sissor kick his oponent in the nuts and not be penalized? UD or DQ is all the same, a loss is a loss. he wasnt punished at all. dirrell was laid out in front of his hometown fans and his family, thats punishment and for what? being the better fighter?

next time im losing in the ams, last 30 sec of a fight ill just go grab the stool and smack the **** out of whoever im fighting, sounds like a plan. ill be punished by losing by DQ instead of decision. whoever im fighting will end up like gerald mcclellan, thats fair.

Who are you again? That's right, the guy who made a thread about eurobums then decided to apologies when your thread went into a massive fail.

but last night was dirrells night, abraham shouldve taken his loss like man. dirrell was clearly the better fighter that night, i was on my feet for several rounds in awe of his ability not even realizing i hadnt sat down yet. u can tell he trained his ass of and he fought a brilliant fight, this was his night to stand tall with his arms raised as his hometown fans cheered him on.

instead he ended on his back from a cheap shot thrown by a sore loser, no matter if he gets the W on his record or not he deserved better. laid out in front of his whole family and lots of friend in a fight he won. and thats not even mentioning the physical trauma he went through suffering a brutal KO like that.

abraham did a terrible thing, then again we all make mistakes and we need to keep in mind it was a heat of the moment type of thing. considering the consequenses i still think he should be punished, this is a dangerous sport and dirrell couldve been injured permanently.

i think he should lose the extra point he gained from knocking out taylor. put him at 2 points next to ward, dirrell and froch. thats a fair punishment imo that will send a statement to fighters about sportmanship. thoughts?
You have to understand,it was Abraham's first loss.He could have been more composed, but everything was done in the heat of the moment.

I agree with the DQ and if it didn't happen this way-Dirrell would have finished the fight more than likely.Just look at how much more aggressive Froch was with Dirrell, and Dirrell was still strong enough to make it.

I think his loss is warranted and doesn't need any further punishment unless this is a habit-which Arthur never does.I believe he was just frustrated and knew he needed that lucky punch in order to win as he was VERY far behind on the scorecards-something that he has never had to do.
People that wanna turn this into a hometown decision need to realize that the doctors helped Arthur out fixing his cut,and though I believe Arthur scored a knockdown (even though their feet were slightly tied),Dirrell got an uncounted knockdown that wasn't credited as well.

If Arthur is the gentleman that he normally is,I would hope he apologizes to Andre for the illegal blow and the insults.

Very good win for Dirrell though-and anyone who critisized his fight with Froch needs to realize that this kid Andre Dirrell, really showed a good fight in against an even tougher opponent, without constant running. He really used a lot of good assets of his...

Having just seen the whole controversy i hope AA would come around and feel remorseful, Dirrell was definitely helpless and AA didnt need to throw that late punch, It was truly uncalled for.

                that is his punishment....

you can say "suspension" but it shouldnt be more than 6 months, and it'll be that long til he fights again anyway...

its done, its over... Dirrell is OK and AA learned his lesson... if it were a fighter who had 6 losses already then i wouldnt necessarily say its OK that he just gets the loss, but this is an undefeated former world champion... his 0 is a HUGE deal to him... well, it WAS
How is that punishment when with 4 1/2 minutes left in the fight their was about a 90% chance he was going to lose anyway?

It was uncalled for. And people are defending AA, saying it was unintentional, or he was getting ready to KO Dirrell. That punch was out of frustration....PERIOD. I'm not buying that he was faking at all. AA was getting dominated and would have lost a UD.....

Do You People Realize The Severity Of Being Knocked Out Cold?

                    ridiculous and unexceptable.
