i was entertained by dirrell-abraham. both guys came looking to inflict pain. neither guy ran, neither guy was looking just to score points. multiple knock downs. high intensity. ending was unfortunate, but i was still very entertained. big ups to both fighters.

i thought it was a good night for boxing. bottom line, boxing is entertainment, and i was entertained. the controversy will just help to keep people talking about the fight and maybe even help drive up interest in a rematch later on.

Sometimes I kind of wish boxing as a business industry would hurry up and die already so it can be rebuilt from the ground up with special attention to fan service.
And what is this blow after blow news that you are talking about?

loopholes in andre ward's scheduling not having him travel at all.

jermain taylor pulling out of the super 6.

            fiasco with judges in froch-dirrell

            joan guzman overweight by 9lbs.

The Super Six is dead. Boxing isn't.

Boxing is dying? Groundless delusion. In Europe boxing is flourishing like it was maybe only in early 20-th century.

In USA people are just disillusioned by Klitschkos' dominance in heavyweight, but this doesn't mean "boxing is dying" there, it's just disappointment in own supremacy. And it's just temporal, USA should accustom to this.
