Sorry Amay I felt like Dirrell was about to be taylored. If AA did not hit him while he was done he would have ended up the same way anyway. In the 10th an the 11th he look out and done.Like one punch was gonna lay him flat on his back.I felt early Dirrell look great better then he did against Froch. But then I believe AA punches started to get to him. That's why you seen him use his trick's again.Jumping on the floor to stay out of trouble.I don't know I felt the taylor fight happing all over again.wow what a performance by dirrel.
he put on a boxing clinic of power, speed, agility and skill.
AA was exposed to being one dimensional and it showed easily by his frustration and intentionally hitting a dirrel who had slipped due to AA's
****ing corner spilling water all over the ****ing place all night...
it wasnt the first slip in that corner
people think AA was coming on strong, he WASNT....he was TRYing but what did he do???? land 4 punches that round instead of 2?
well done dirrel, you should be proudComment

Best Quote in this Forum so farI was actually pretty worried after seeing how confused and disoriented Dirrell was immediately after the fight. I didn't believe that it had anything to do with bleeding in the brain as that is usually due to an accumulation of punches rather than one hard punch. Glad to see Dirrell is ok.
After watching the replay it becomes more and more clear that this was an intentional foul. Something should be done about water in the fighters corner. It doesn't happened too often but enough to be a concern. Dirrell slipped earlier in the fight in Abrahams corner and then slipped again in the final round creating the opportunity for the foul. Should the corner be fined after being warned to keep the corner dry by the ref? Should boxing prevent the use of slick ads in the ring, especially in the fighters corners? Or should the sport of boxing do nothing and wait for a fighter to tear an ACL?
My hats off to Dirrell. I still don't like the way he fights especially after having him run and flop all over the ring against Froch. However, I did gain some respect for Dirrell after watching him outbox and go toe to toe with Abraham. Maybe this might push Abraham to pick it up and actually fight an entire boxing match not just the last two rounds.Comment

lmao, " i lost man, i lost,(not even a half second later) he hit me while i was down" . he just put a little too much on it.if he didnt say anything he wouldnt get soo much crap.He made himself look bad. he shouldve the crying after the Froch decision. i did.
that said. i believe this guy is getting better by leaps and bounds with every fight. i think he beats Kessler too. not sure about A. Green. Loses to Andre ward.Comment

ROME you are my boy and all but dirrel was on his bike due to catching a few shots, one behind the head may i add.Sorry Amay I felt like Dirrell was about to be taylored. If AA did not hit him while he was done he would have ended up the same way anyway. In the 10th an the 11th he look out and done.Like one punch was gonna lay him flat on his back.I felt early Dirrell look great better then he did against Froch. But then I believe AA punches started to get to him. That's why you seen him use his trick's again.Jumping on the floor to stay out of trouble.I don't know I felt the taylor fight happing all over again.
he was NO where near being in trouble let alone knocked out.
as a former fighter there are different degrees of being in trouble i can attest to.
he may have gotten buzzed a bit and he was taking the round off.
plus AA's jog became a sprint as he was becoming more desperate
Dirrel would have got back to his 1234 combos staggering him back and turning him with ease as he has all fight.
in fact, AA was closer to being knocked out as dirrel was never in any serious troubleComment

his foot clearly slid as he went down.Sorry Amay I felt like Dirrell was about to be taylored. If AA did not hit him while he was done he would have ended up the same way anyway. In the 10th an the 11th he look out and done.Like one punch was gonna lay him flat on his back.I felt early Dirrell look great better then he did against Froch. But then I believe AA punches started to get to him. That's why you seen him use his trick's again.Jumping on the floor to stay out of trouble.I don't know I felt the taylor fight happing all over again.
regardless of if dirrel was hurt or not from the blow, it was a disqualifying blow and game over for AA.
it really showed that AA was being outclassed and he knew it the whole time.
you could see the discouragement on his face the whole fight.Comment

Direll surprised me by fighting a great fight, and he was winning with class up to the 10th when AA finally caught him. For that point on it was just a matter of time and AA was going to put Direll's lights out, but AA ***ed up and hit Direll when he was down.
Kudos to Direll for a great performance, but AA was going to ko him if the fight continued.
I thought Direll looked very intimidated pre-fight and during his walk to the ring, and before the fight actually started. I knew he was going to at least be nervous...he knew what he was up against. AA was pompous. I'm not a fan. I got Ward still winning the tourney. I'm not really a Ward fan either.Comment
