Gary Shaw is an overly emotional scumbag!!! So of course he will vilify Abraham and claim he fouled intentionally!! This is what's ugly in boxing...where opposing sides end up taking the EXTREME view!! Dirrell's people will say the foul was intentional and Abraham's people will say Dirrell is a good actor! And obviously both extremes are wrong!!

The fact of the matter is that Abraham was closing in on Dirrell. He knocked down Dirrell, hurt him and that knucklehead referee Cole called it a slip! Dirrell was winning but after the so-called "slip", he was visibly hurt and the opportunity of getting knocked out in the late rounds was there!! Anyone that believes Abraham fouled intentionally is NOT being rational. Nothing in his past suggests that and unfortunately, it was one of those split second punches that happens all the time in boxing! A super slow motion replay may say otherwise, but the human eye does not see in super slow motion in real time. For example, just look at the super slow motion of Dirrell's reaction after the punch. The viewers can argue that Dirrell faked being knockout when he clearly was NOT faking it.

This fight was tragic and another controversial fight in the tournament!!

    Super Six.......now Super Sucks!!!

IMO both sides are trying to protect their own interests - nothing new here, really...

And to me, AA just tried the easiest way to get out of this bout without his record being stained with a clear points loss - and Dirrell did the same - taking the easiest way out of the fight...

I hope that both will meet again in the semis as they have more unfinished business than Dirrell has with Froch...

To those who think Dirrell's faking it...

Go get a flashlight and point it right directly to your eyes, I bet you'd close your eyes with the blinding light from it.

Then go check back the video where doctors check Dirrell's eyes if the pupil's dilated or not. Didn't see any blinking on his eyes. That ****'s hard to act up!

AA's eyes may have betrayed him with the right one being cut and blood trickling in it - plus Dirrell's low body stance when being cornered my have added to that - still a DQ as no one should think otherwise but a fight that just needs a rematch and may get one in the semis...

yea king has never been that type of fighter but this is the first time u see him mad n frustrated at a man he cant hit at all, it wasnt intentional, but im sure he notice he was on da ground but it jus slipped out cause concentrated on knocking dirrells head off, i think a rematch will be the same outcome prolly a lil easier for dirrell,

it was a dq obviously lost with or without the dq

It will depend on their mindsets...

...AA damn hard knows now, how you can't fight a guy like Dirrell and Dirrell knows that AA hits damn hard when he connects...

I guess that AA will be far more aggressive the next time around (if they are gonna meet again) and may psych Dirrell out of the fight come mind rounds...

wow what a performance by dirrel.

he put on a boxing clinic of power, speed, agility and skill.

AA was exposed to being one dimensional and it showed easily by his frustration and intentionally hitting a dirrel who had slipped due to AA's
****ing corner spilling water all over the ****ing place all night...
it wasnt the first slip in that corner

people think AA was coming on strong, he WASNT....he was TRYing but what did he do???? land 4 punches that round instead of 2?

well done dirrel, you should be proud

I don't think Dirrell faked being hurt. I don't think AA hit him on purpose either, it looked like he did but I don't think so. AA was losing the fight anyway so it didn't really matter.
