Moreno is following the Caballero path. Caballero beats Somsak in Thailand, Molitor in Canada, Parra in Venezula, DeLeon and Castillo in the U.S.

Anselmo Moreno beat Sidorenko twice in Germany when Sidorenko was their darling and undefeated champion and Olympian, then goes to Venezuela to beat a rising Cermeno fresh off three victories.

He also beat a comebacking Monshippur pretty easy.

His competition is solid and he is hard match up for anyone at 118.

Panamanian fighters always take their titles on foreign soil. Even Guellerimo Jones went to Germany to knock out Arslan to get his cruiser belt.

Moreno is the man. I hope he gets a major fight against either Hasegawa or any of the other champs.

POST-SCRIPT= Interestingly enough Cermeno although Venezuelan actually lives in Panama City

Anyone that watched that fight objectively knew Moreno didn't beat Sidorenko. Those fights were draws.

Moreno beat him twice fairly. Sidorenko didn't even get going until the 6th in the first fight and he did not win every round after that.

I agree, I scored both fights for Moreno against Sidorenko.

Yeah, I know. That's why I was surprised it was in Venezuela.

            I agree.

I thought the second was closer, but I felt he won that one too.
