I don't think it's embarrassing as much as it's a credence to the young talent in America.

Dirrell with his own tentativeness was the master of his own downfall in that match with Froch. Had he started against Froch the way he did against Abraham he'd have took a UD. But he was scared to engage for way too many rounds, and by the time he grew in confidence it was seemingly too late even though he was dominating Froch by the end. I'd very much favour Dirrell over Froch. Dirrell lost himself that match.

What you see as incredible talent we see as just another prize fighter with decent skills.

In the amateurs, they saw every single style they had to see. As they grow, there strengths become stronger and the same way they dominated in the amateurs when they were young, they dominate the pros as well. If you're mad now, just look at Gamboa and Rigandeux, none of those 4 guys are going to lose decisively any time soon.
