Comments Thread For: Steve Molitor Decisions Takalani Ndlovu, Wins IBF Title

At Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada, heavy hometown favorite Steve Molitor (32-1) reclaimed the IBF super bantamweight title with a twelve round unanimous decision over South Africa's Takalani Ndlovu (30-6). The scores were 116-112, 117-111 and 115-113. Molitor lost the title two years ago when he was knocked out by Celestino Caballero in four rounds. Ndlovu was no stranger to Molitor. He was knocked out by the Canadian fighter in nine rounds back in 2007.

that a boy stevie. Unfortunetly I still believe that Caballero beating took something out of him, but this was a good fight. Congrads on your second world title, you deserve it Steve.

This was a very boring fight. Neither guy deserves to be a world champion in my opinion. Both were unwilling to let their hands go from start to finish. Gotta wonder too if Molitor got the hometown decision because from what I saw there is no way he won 117-111 as one judge had it. To me, the fight was pretty much a toss-up in that neither guy impressed, dominated or even showed the willingness to take charge in the ring.

I had it 115-113 molitor.I had takalani winning 4-2 after 6 but gave molitor 5-1 the second half as I felt he was busier & not backing up as much.takakani dictated the first half but molitor the 2nd.close fight but I must say molitor is not the same confident fighter he was before the loss.maybe winning back the belt will help but I'm wondering when he steps in against the elite how he will do.he's got a good fanbase & setup at casino Rama.the undercard heavyweight fight was an excellent one.pajkic looked good & was in alot better shape than normal & it paid off big time.I'd like to see a rematch.

Molitor is a ***** and a embarrassment to Canada. He rolled over for Caballero without even trying to put up a fight. Against any of the top guys he will get demolished. He should retire because he is clearly scared of getting hurt.
