I like many others in this forum have been in the ring. It is hard to control yourself especially when you know you are in a whole. I talked to Arthur a few hours after the fight, he said he was caught up and he didnt hear the ref say anything. He was already swinging but didnt want to hit him hard while he was on a knee. But you cant compare this incident to Rjj's. Lol, the guy hit him 3 times while he was down
He didn't come across as a class act in the post-fight interview - he did his reputation a lot of damage and lost the respect of a lot of people with his total lack of class in the interview.

Interview in the ring dont mean ****!
Nobody can be judged by saying things on his mind after a tough decision like that. Wait for a final statement than talk.

Oh man he got lucky it happened like that. It was going to be a repeat of Abraham v. Miranda II, Rd. 4!

I felt like AA was just upset how thing's turned out he felt like he was being fouled as well.Dirrell has a style were he like's to hold and jump on the floor it's really strange how the guy fights. But AA was upset and that was his first response cause of how the fight went. Also the fact he did not agree with the decision.

The USA favouritism was abvious as usual. If that wasnt a knockdown by Arthur in the 9th I think, then im a dutchman. I think if Dirrell carried on Arthur would have ko'd him anyway. Arthur was getting to him and hurting him.

Let's be real foreign fighters get the fairest shake in the USA out of any country......sad but true. Joe Calzaghe and Hatton both got fair opportunities as did Lennox Lewis and other fighters who consistently fight in the USA......if you want to talk about favouritism how about a US fighter fighting on foreign soil.....for instance....Germany......can a US fighter get a decision in Germany against a Sauerland fighter unless they win every rd?????

How can he honestly not agree with the decision??? He knows the rules.

If the judges are international and not German, yes. Haye got a decision against Valuev in a fight that most boxing writers thought was much closer than the judges scored it. Most ringsiders scored it to Haye by a round, two at most, and some scored it to Valuev - but two of the judges scored it to Haye by four rounds. But the judges were all from neutral countries, which is how it should be in all title fights.

Admittedly Haye isn't American, he's British, but I don't think the Germans look any more favourably on British fighters than American ones. The point is that the judges should be from neutral countries, and I'm not aware of any clear robberies in Germany where the judges and ref were from neutral countries.

And there are plenty of blatant robberies of foreign fighters in the US. How about Funeka-Guzman I? How about Chris John-Juarez I? How about Casamayor-Santa Cruz? All were blatant robberies.
