    but good by any measure.
i think it depends on how deep you look into this stuff. if you know about some of these guys and what they are capable of, there are some decent wins under the better ones on his resume. the same can be said for other fighters with some "unknown" opposition.

All the same, with plenty of solid wins, nearly all by large margins, he has to be a top ranker. A forgotten man I'd say.

He beat Marquez by a large margin also, with American, Japanese, and Indonesian judges,

They were all within a point or so of each other. I put it down to the huge frustration that Marquez must have had, having turned down $750 thousand to fight Manny P a third time, only to go through a barren patch and then forced to take on John for $32,500.......and then LOSE.

I seem to recall that it was Beristain who did the "dirty deed".........

Come on man, I understand you hate Mayweather, but Mayweather's resume is 10x better than John's resume.

I only saw him fight against Juarez (1st fight and rematch), I thought he had been robbed in the first fight, he deserved to win, not to have a ****** draw... But, I don't find him any exciting... I was really bored during both fights.

you thought the first fight was boring? i could see people not going crazy over the second, but i thought both fights were entertaining.
