Seems like that guy hardly gets any love on this site. 43 wins 22 kos and 0 losses and has defended his belt 12 times in about 6 years.
Everyone always talks about undefeated records but what about Chris John?

Yes, I agree that he has done very well to keep hold of his world title, but he aint been fighting the top guys in the 126lbs division. Why not fight gamboa, lopez, rojas. IF he fights these three guys and wins all three, then we can praise him -
He fought JMM who he actually fought a close fight and won. And Marquez is far better fighter than everybody you named.Comment

Aren't Gamboa and Lopez still little green and he has fought Marquez and Juarez who are damn good fighters if you as me specially Marquez.Comment

Exactly, and he fought Juarez twice (even going to Houston to do it). I think he has gotten bolder as his career has gone on, however his possible opponents have not.
The managers want to match Lopez and Gamboa eventually, which is great, but that leaves John out in the cold for a while.Comment

Very good fighter but he has never stood out in any way, and when lower class fighters stay in a division that long they simply do not get much attention.Comment
