I agree with everything you have said about Funeka, but... the Campbell part is untrue.

    1. He 6 rounds, and the 2 knockdowns sealed the decision loss.
    2. Campbell did dry himself out trying to take off more weight, and did actually try to make weight, so I don't think it's the same kind of disadvantage.
    3. Funeka lost the Campbell fight because he got hit with the same punch OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER. Why he couldn't stop the overhand right is beyond me. That's the only reason Campbell won, and he was able to win it with one punch, because Funeka never took it away.

he does'nt have an unfair advantage, if anything funeka has the advantage because guzman obviously has'nt put the work in, i bet he'll feel slow and sluggish fight time

but then again i did'nt see the weigh in, is guzman ripped?

He then fights Guzman, destroys him and gets a robbed and handed a draw. Now he fights Gumaz again who weighed in as a welterweight, a whopping nine pounds overweight. As a result, Guzamn will probably not be as flat as last time, while Funeka still had to starve himself, and he is 6'1.

            I feel sorry for Funeka.
            its called boxing political racism.

Anyone with at least one working eye can see he was beaten already anyway. He ain't undefeated.

Nah, he looks a bit soft, but I've only seen a couple of pics. He really seemed to be enjoying himself though.

He didn't look ripped, but he didn't look fat either. He was grinning from ear to ear like a total ****sucker though.

I do think you are right though. Guzman has never fought at 144. Pavlik lost something when he fought ten pounds north of middleweight. Marquez didn't look very comfortable at 142. He probably won't be comfortable with the new weight.

If Funeka was going against anyone else else, I'd be rooting for him. But it'd be to no avail. There's a good chance Funeka will get knocked out tonight.

You don't give someone a 9 pound weight advantage when they're on your level. Guzman punches will definitely not be easy to take.

for a guy that relies on reflexes, quickness, speed, & defense that weight could be detrimental to him especially if he's a lighweight. he employs the same shoulder roll style as floyd & floyd never comes in heavy......

unless he's fighting a career featherweight who is 36 years old with 55 plus fights at welterweight.
