    Did someone curse Ali Funeka?

The most unlucky fighter I have seen in ages. Campbell can't wake weight has an unfair advantage as a result, and while he still outboxed Campbell he gets handed a loss he should have won, even though he had to sacrifice himself to make weight while Campbell did not. He then fights Guzman, destroys him and gets a robbed and handed a draw. Now he fights Gumaz again who weighed in as a welterweight, a whopping nine pounds overweight. As a result, Guzamn will probably not be as flat as last time, while Funeka still had to starve himself, and he is 6'1.

    I feel sorry for Funeka.

I feel sorry for Funeka too but your analysis is garbage. Nate had no advantage in the Funeka fight because the 9 hours he spent in the steam room trying to make weight before the weigh in made him a dead man walking. And yes, it was a close fight, but Nate won at least 6 rounds, if not 7, PLUS the 2 knockdowns. I like Funeka too, and he got completely jobbed in the first Guzman fight, but keep it real man.

How do you feel about Victor Ortiz knocking Campbell all the way out to retirement on May 15th?

The bad part about that though is that Guzman can actually be a bit sluggish since he will probably be coming in at junior middleweight which could also be in Funeka's favor. Its hard to come up that many weight classes, be overweight and still keep your speed ( which he will need to win).

Its a shame how Guzman turned out. If he was more disciplined, he could have been one of the greats of this era.

He didn't deserve the decision against Campbell.
