Floyd will end up like Roy if he fights long enough.

He is skilled otherwise he wouldn't be a pro. He isn't as skilled as Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, ect. Those guys can still put up great numbers because of their skill set. Vince Carter was just as athletic as LeBron James when he first came in the NBA, Now look at him. Can he still do half of the things that he used to do? LeBron is very skilled, but not that great compared to Kobe, ect..He still hasn't been able to shoot 80% from the FT line, and his outside shooting is very limited. You can clearly see the difference between him and Kevin Durant. You can see that Durant is a more skilled player, but that doesn't mean he's better than LeBron though.

For ****'s sake you guys are taking this the wrong way. Floyd does rely a lot on his reflexes. The older he gets, and the more his reflexes fade, he won't be able to avoid a punch the same. He'll still be good, yes, but if he sticks around, he'll start getting tagged more and his chin tested which has never really happened before.

Who knows?. But unlike most other boxers, Floyd is very patient. He's a safety first boxer, and i think he will still be able to adjust his opponent(s) mistakes and make them pay. But yes, i do agree that he would take more punishments as he gets older, but not as much as most other brawler type of boxers.

not really... with floyd's style, he could fight well into his 40's. floyd is too cerebral to end up like roy. he doesn't rely on keeping his hands down to counter.

Floyd has wicked reflexes yes, but he's far more fundamentally sound than Roy ever was. He'll retire long before then, but I think Floyd could still be world class even 5 years from now, after his reflexes have slowed.

Though like Hamed, I don't think Floyd will handle losing well.

Floyd is more highly skilled then Roy and more fundamentally sound. His reflexes have already slipped and hes still dominant. His style will allow him to be elite fr at least the next 5 years if he chooses to fight that long.
