Floyd will end up like Roy if he fights long enough.

Subtract the speed and reflexes and Floyd will still be a good fighter, though more limited. However Floyd will make bank in his next few fights, and I honestly can't see him fighting after 2012. He'll have no need to fight until he's completely shot, or even until some young up and comer beats him.

Most fighters use speed and/or reflexes to at least some extent. That's a no brainer. To say that's all Mayweather has is not only wrong but ignorant, really.

That's exactly what I was trying to tell him. That Mayweather like Hopkins uses his mind and defensive ability.

It's like LeBron James right now. He's currently the most athletic player in Basketball today (arguably the most athletic player ever), but if he is not that skilled fundamentally. Once he loses his athleticism, he is gonna have to find another way to play as efficient and consistent as he's playing right now. Kobe is a more fundamentally sound Basketball player. He was very athletic when he first came in the NBA, but he quickly worked on some of the things that made him the best skilled player in the game today.
