These days one just pays the fine and the fight goes on in spite of weight advantage which is unfair. The lighter fighter should refuse to fight unless their opponent sheds some pounds, why fight with a disadvantage?
We seen this happen in Castillo-Corrales and Mayweather-Marquez.
