BoxingScene.com was advised by Gary Shaw, promoter for Ali Funeka (30-2-3, 25 KOs), that an agreement has been reached to move forward with tomorrow night's rematch with Joan Guzman (29-0-1, 17 KOs) at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas. As I previously reported, Guzman was nine-pounds above the lightweight limit. He weighed 144-pounds, while Funeka was at the limit at 135.

man, funeka has too much balls for his own good. first with campbell and now here. i really hope funeka not only beats him but knocks him out. i dont think i ever wanted someone to knock out their oponent this bad.

they shouldve just gave the ibf title to funeka though, he did win it the first time they fought. and pay him like he fought for it with money out of guzmans pocket.
