I am not positive that I have warmed up to the idea of Corrales moving up to Jr. Welterweight. I want to see him stay at lightweight for a while I think. For me, the dream fight would be against Morales at lightweight, with Castillo in a rematch coming a close second. Why Morales ahead of Castillo you ask? Because I think that fight has the potential to be a fight of the year type battle, except with about half of the risk that would be involved in a Castillo fight (a quarter of the risk if it goes off at lightweight). I am not saying that Castillo would not be able to succeed up a Jr. Welter, but I certainly dont want his first fight there to be with the very top of the division (which the winner of Tzsyu/Hatton would certainly be.)

I'm totally with you... I think that a move to 140lbs would be a BAD move for Corrales!

I definitely think that you are right in that I think it would be a mismatch, especially at lightweight (although even at jr. lightweight). I am saying that it would be FOTY because I am giving Morales the benefit of that doubt that he would display the huge toughness and heart that he has time and time again before he is finally beaten. He has never really hit the canvas (that MAB one does not count and all of you Berrara people know it) and has always come back swinging. Even in a losing effort I would suspect no different.

I think that is unfair to say about Pacquiao, mostly because he already has beaten a Morales quality fighter or two. He knocked out Barrera who I think is Morales quality (although Morales would certainly disagree) and should have beaten Juan Manuel Marquez, if not for a scoring error, who is also on that level.
