Don't worry for your french, my english is not good but I can still understand how boxingscene work.

If you speak french well enough, join the forum on lazonedeboxe.com, a couple of boxers from Quebec are regularly online and you can ask question to Yvon Michel from GYM or to the guys of interbox. A great site for the boxing local scene.
You English sounds good to me, though I guess on-line it's harder to tell . I'll be sure to check out that forum, good to hear that that site is supported so much by local boxers and the big promoters...if I can understand what's going on maybe I'll even post .

      Hey fellas,

      In Calgary here.

I saw the Acline fight, and wasn't overly impressed, but he looks like he has some potential.

But speaking of potential, have you guys ever seen Adonis Stevenson? He's still an ameture right now, but he's trained by Russ Anber, and he's a POWER punching middleweight south paw who looks to be like a cross between Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Lacey.

He's knocking guys silly at international competitions and at the Nationals, and I talked to Russ who say's he's one of the most natural hardest punchers he's ever worked with. He said he expects he will turn pro in 2006 at 168.

Adonis Stevenson you say! I don't know him but I going to keep my eyes open. Do you know with what team he's going to turn pro with? Interbox? GYM? Anyway he has a great name, Adonis! is he good looking? If so this is funny

I checked it out and your Adonis is 28, did some prison and cannot fight in the U.S. because of that. At his age, he better turn pro quick and have 6 fights a year, he doesn't have time to waste!

Someone told me the guy gave a very rough fight to Jean Pascal in the amateur (Pascal is a great prospect here in Montreal), he even dropped him for a knock down, impressive!

But it looks like a guy who is wasting is talent to me!

From what I've heard, he took up the sport late, and that's why he hasn't turned pro yet. But Anber insists he will within a year, so I will keep my eyes open.

IF you get a chance to watch him, you should. He's something to see.
