I wish these guys could fight at a max of 3 months.

What killed boxing anyway? Cable and PPV? It sucks because boxing needed cable and PPV for the fighters to make real money but it killed the sport. One of the reason's boxing was so big is that you could see big fights on National TV just like every other big sport. Even in the 80's all the big fights would be on CBS and ****. I think if we could get back to that then the sport would be big again. Most people only know a few boxers but how big would guys like Mayweather be if all his fights were on CBS or something or atleast the big fights.

Now I cant wait for the fights coming up but then what? Theres no guarantee that the winners will fight eachother and then if they do you will have to wait like 5 or 6 months. I love boxing but I hate it at the same time
Yeah, I get what you're saying. That **** frustrates me too sometimes. Oscar DLH is one of my favorite fighters, and I'd love to see him at 147 again, but he ****ed up by trying to move up in weight like a dumbass and on top of that he takes forever to fight and then demands ridiculous amounts of money like a ****ing pansy. It's basically what has happened to every other sport, almost none of the fighters fight for the love of the sport. The only difference is that the other sports have a schedule and are televised, so you pretty much always know when and where you can see them. Too bad boxing is the only sport I bother to follow lol

DLT, I feel your pain! I would love to see some of these 'heavyweight champions' fight alittle more often than 2times a year. Look at Chris Byrd, his last fight was in november of last year and his next fight is in July against some guy I've never heard of.WTF! And I don't even think that the WBC champ Vitali Klitcho will fight this year.

However, having said all that there are still alot of great fights on national television. There is weekly boxing matches on Galavision's 'boxeo en estina' and ESPN's tuesday and friday nights. Enjoy those fights and when your favorite fighter decides to fight again, if you remember him, you can buy the ppv.

You would never expect to see a thread with that title in a boxing message board. LOL But the sport does get annoying and I see everyones points. But I love boxing...

If you dont love boxing like you used to, going to the gym might rekindle your love for the sport. I love basketball as well as boxing, but I wouldnt be as big of a basketball fan if I didnt play the game as well as watch it.

boxing strength and punch power correlates directly to the street fight, dont understand your reasoning here.

ive only been in 4 street fights since i started boxing, and each 'dispute' was over in about 5 seconds
