    Why Not More Guzman-Funeka Talk?

To me this is still a big fight. It might seem like Ali will kill him because thats what usually happeneds the 2nd time around but Im very interested in seeing it because Guzman was a beast and more specifically because I think this time he is actually going to try to box Ali instead of worrying about putting on a show for HBO and going toe to toe with the guy. He will box this time and that will make it interesting. What if he completely flips the script and makes it look like Floyd-Chico? Ali is a beast though and to me this sets up a great winner for Valero which I would love to see

ppl here dont care about boxing unless its related to u know who.

personally i look forward to the fight but its not a whole lot to talk about, i see guzman doing better than last time but i cant see him winning.

this has funeka UD written all over it.

I think it's being overshadowed by the AA-Dirrell fight (and the usual May-Pac stuff).

It's hard to get too excited because to me it's another GBP-HBO rematch of a bad decision. Diaz-Paulie, John-Juarez had rematches because the judges were biased in favour of the GBP boxer, and the same thing is happening here. In a way the fight feels like a formality, we're likely to see a repeat of the previous fight, just because the judges couldn't get it right the first time around.

Tough fight to call, really. You could say that Guzman's performance will better this time if he doesn't have that cut, but you could also say that Funeka is just too big for him and will eventually wear him down.

I'll be watching the fight but personally, I'm kind of turned of by it because of the terrible way it was judged the first time around. I was not impressed with Guzman at all and Funeka stomped him good the first time around- I'll be watching it though.

it wasnt just the size. funeka could match his boxing skills in addition to having that height. like george foreman said "show me a tall man with a good jab and ill show u a man hard to beat".

well they dont come much taller than funeka and that jab of his is a killer. i expect guzman to have focused more on headmovement and gettin inside that jab but i just dont see it happening.

funeka keeps him of all night, if guzman gambles he gets knocked out, if not funeka wins a decision.

Don't think I'll agree with you about Funeka putting up a dominating performance. I think it'll be much more competitive, this time.

You have to admit that Guzman's cut had a lot to do with his performance, though. Before the cut, he was winning the fight.

Who can you blame? I mean it was clear Funeka won the first fight and got robbed, this cat has the worst luck in the world, I wish he finishes Guzman's career tomorrow night and finally get his damn belt. I'm excited about this fight but I fear for Funeka getting robbed again if he doesn't get a KO.

Funeka shouldn't have to fight this rematch to begin with. That's why there isn't a ton of excitement.
