Good that Saul is fighting soon , he has like what 31 or 32 fights so he is getting that experience .before he fights the top 10 WW , I would like to see him fight zab to see how he reacts with real quick guys and that style.good thing about canelo is that he got a lot of options and potential is there.

He's too young to be thrown into the lions.

LOl din't Juanma faced a guy with 12 losses and got his ass beat almost getting knocked the **** up??

Whats even more sad is matwaga was a tomato can that gave juanma a beating and whats more embarrassing is that juanma a champion was even facing him. But if a mexican prospect of the age of 19 is facing that opposition which in this case he isn't hes overhyped. Lmaol typicall puertorican hater.

Damn, so how does one become famous and Mexican at the same time? Are they simultaneous attainable?... I tell you what man stop bringing race into the equation and tell your buddies that just because a PR makes a comment on a Mexican boxer that isn't positive-- IT DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN THAT THEY ARE BEING SPITEFUL. This is a thread for boxing fans of all different ethnicities and nationalities and it is inevitable that you get various opinions on your favorite fighter, maybe someone representing your country, that you may not like. Take it for what it is and make a solid argument against it-- BUT LEAVE RACE OUT OF IT. lol

It's good for an under card. Whatever the circumstances for the match up, their gonna get payed and we'll hopefully get our moneys worth...

If your Panocha, gets hurt, because I dont call him the second comming of Chava Sanchez, well use some Vagisile!!!

Kid, is good, He is readu for a step up. And fighting a LW, who had a 2 year layoff a couple of months ago, doest cut it!!

Theres a lot of non top 10 WW he could of fought instead of Cotto
i see your point papa, but i still think that if Cotto took the fight then he has his reasons man. Alvarez party reached out to hatton, but he didnt want the fight. Just like juanma beat luevano in luevanos weightclass cotto has a chance. do i think he'll win, not a chance. but thats my opinion. everyone has a punchers chance....

i will say for 19...this kid "canelo" is ahead of the game...for now. we'll see how he does this year with stiffer competition. as of now, i'm a fan.

what big checks? cmon for the hype people around have this kid isn't making anything serious in terms of money

I say let the kid get his feet wet first then assess from there what type of fighter we have before we started anointing him or tearing him down

I honestly am not sold on him and what I have seen I haven't been that impressed BUT he is only 19 and while he does have a lot of fights his experience and maturity cannot possibly be that advanced

How coviniently you forgot to mention that, that 19 year was a former champ and he needed to move in weight.

Im not say, he needs to fight a top 10 WW right now. But atleast a Gomez, Soto-Karaas, Bruseles type WW!
