There was. HBO was willing to lay down more money for Khan-JMM, yet JMM pulled out for some reason. Probably because he knew he was going to get beat. Fighting for a 4th world title what no other Mexican has done before for more money >>>>>>>>> fighting a guy that just came out of a horrible loss, you have already beaten and make less money.

Marquez ducking elite competition and for what, a C rated fighter in Diaz..

Come on Marquez, if your so damn good step your game up with fighters like, Khan, Hatton, Bradley, Funeka, Campbell, Valero, the list goes on...

But he aint gonna fight those guys cause hes to busy chasing Pacman, Marquezs only notable fight

This is a no brainer for JMM. Do you remember Marquez goes to Indonesia to fight CJ. This is somewhat like it.

There are other opponent out there is far more exciting than Diaz. Just saying

I'm a huge Marquez fan but I am NOT happy about this rematch and a PPV at that? That undercard better be stacked man.

The WBO should not be allowing JMM to avoid his mandatory and instead defend against someone on a 3 fight losing streak who he has already beaten. What makes it worse is that they are making his mandatory (Katsidis) defend his status against a tough unbeaten contender in the UK.

If he wants to move up to 147, then come down and have an easy fight then that's up to him, but he shouldn't be allowed to keep his belts while doing it.

its safe for marquez to fight diaz whom he knocked out two years ago. amir kahn would expose dispose easy. its a wise move for him.

he should forget chasing pacquiao. because like clottey, he blew his chance of a lifetime.

Diaz should probably be getting a couple of confidence booster fights first. Marquez should target others before Diaz again.

Actually their first fight was close until diaz got cut n went into ****** mode. You never know what might happen this fight, remember diaz rocked Marquez in the second round in their last fight.

What makes this bad is that it is PPV. If it were a HBO WCB card, it would be decent, since we are guaranteed good action in the main event. Winky-Mora is a decent co-feature.

But as a PPV? Seems like we are reverting to 2008 with too many mediocre PPVs, and GBP is responsible for two of them.

yeah im not to happy about the ppv thing...but i can understand why marquez and diaz are fighting...they both are coming off of losses and it sux they both were embarassed pretty badly...but they said on espn.com that whoever wins this will be in a very good position to fight 140 title holders..bradley, alexander and kahn....maybe marquez wasnt ready for it yet....also winky wright is possibly going to be on the undercard just incase anybody cared.
