I notice from the recent edition of The Ring that most serious boxing writers agree with me, by the way.

And trying to paint me as a hater doesn't wash. I have written hundreds of posts defending Floyd against genuine haters, but that doesn't mean I have to swallow his propaganda before breakfast every morning.
I have critiqued Floyd on many occassions but I think most people
who don't like Floyd will only point out the times I defended him.
Floyd is not perfect but neither is any other fighter and when it
comes to Floyd people make it seem like he is always wrong and
that is not the case and that's why I always post facts and quotes
from different fighters, promoters and people in the boxing world
that back up what I am saying. People on here think I am protecting
Floyd but how could that be when everything I posts is from a
factual standpoint and not from an emotional one? I am not trying
to paint you as a hater and didn't even say that but Dave, I have
been reading your posts since I have been on Boxingscene and
you do go in on floyd sometimes. You even used the word
"Nuthugger" when it comes to people actually agreeing with
what he says. My thing is that, any boxer right now would
like to be in the man shoes because his business is tight. I see
two different Floyds, business and the boxer. He tried to make
the Pac fight, it didn't happen and he got blamed for it. Then he
made the Mosley fight happen and he gets ridiculed for it by having
people say, "he was forced to do it", the BS just gets to be too
much for me to read at times. You should already know, that I
never post from an emotional outlook on any fighter.

I only use "nuthugger" about people who blindly defend the indefensible. I criticise Floyd's attitude but only for things I would criticise any fighter for - I don't single him out for criticism at all. For instance, I've been far more critical of Khan's ducking of Maidana than I've ever been of anything Floyd said or did, and I was a Khan fan until he did that.

Floyd should get credit for taking the Mosley fight. But claiming that his drugs demands were simply an attempt to have a level playing field and nothing more is simply ridiculous. I don't know of a single serious boxing writer who agrees with that statement.

I haven't seen any of your posts criticising Floyd, but I'll look forward to seeing one.

I would have to agree that the random blood tests were to see
if Pac was on roids BUT why couldn't Pac just take them and just
make the fight happen? Pac didn't have to oblige Floyd's request
but why would Manny make certain stipulations for fighters to agree
to and then claim that he won't agree to what Floyd wants because
Floyd is not the Commission? That's an excuse and did you hear and
see the "Freddie Roach" interview on ESPN? He said Floyd wanted
the blood tests because he knew that he wasn't ready for Pac?
Wasn't Roach the one that said Manny wouldn't be ready for Floyd
by March? I just don't see the tests being a big enough deal
to take considering Floyd was taking them too so in actuality
would you say that Floyd was blaming himself as well as Manny?
The tests was there I think to mostly have Floyd feel like he
is fighting a clean fighter in Manny Pacquiao. Maybe his intentions
were something else when he asks for the tests but no one should
be able to deny that it is a good thing to do in the sport of Boxing.

GRUSTLER I've been reading posts from you and Dave and so many other fans on this forum; and I would like to add that in no way have I seen any bias from you. But on the other hand I have only seen the bias ways and thinking of Dave and quite a few others on this message board; that it is really pathetic!!!!
Dave Rado is one way in regards to Pac, and if I was you I wouldn't even respont to him because he trys to come off as sounding well-informed and intelligent, when in actuality he is one way and way only! This guy wouldn't know the meaning of honesty if it hit him in the ass!!!!!!

Yeah, I've been reading posts from Dave since I first joined
Boxing Scene. Am aware of him but have no problem with
debating Dave because no matter what, I know that Manny
Pacquiao, Freddie Roach and Bob Arum ducked Floyd Mayweather Jr
and the random blood tests and it should not have matter why
            the tests were requested.

You'd have to say the same about pretty much every boxing writer on the planet, then, especially the writers in The Ring, who would be expected to be biased in the opposite direction if they were biased at all, given that The Ring is owned by GBP - and yet they say exactly the same as I do.

By your definition, only Floyd's most devout nuthuggers are honest.

Well that contradicts what you said earlier.

An unbiased person would also ask: why couldn't Floyd just agree to the 24 day cut-off and make the fight happen? Both were in the wrong. Pac should have agreed to the 14 days and Floyd should have agreed to the 24 days. And in both cases, the reason they didn't was pride.
