It's not about their skills... their speed slows down, their power isn't as effective against larger guys. Going up in weight is a lot harder to do.

Unless your name is Manny Pacquiao... going up in weight makes a difference.

I absolutly understand ur point for sure..but most of us watched the 2 fights he had w Tayolor and if u watched the fight w no bias i believe u had Hop winnen both those fights..the Calzaghe was iffy too know that will piss lots off but it was course i may b bias as well as i dont like Calzaghe at all lol....but seriously he dont get any credit for De la Hoya none?

The only thing "iffy" about the first Taylor fight was that it should have been a draw, based on one of the judges scorecards. One judge scored the 12th round for Taylor, when Hopkins clearly won that round. If that judge scored that 12th round properly(for Hopkins), fight would have been a draw. In which case Hopkins still would have complained about being robbed.


Calzaghe won a very close fight, but 7-5 was appropriate.
