Did you read what I wrote. Have you ever even seen Sweet Pea because I cant believe you are asking these question. Look at his record. All he does is score points. I think you have it in your head like he runs or something. He doesnt run. He goes in circles but is always in close range so he can land. Also he has been hit by hard punchers before and Tszyu wont land that many clean shots on him. Tszyu never hurt Tackie and Urkal gave him problems. He wont come close to hurting Whitaker. He doesnt hit harder then JCC. Also, Sweet Pea would be landing a bunch of punches on Tszyu and they will effect him. He may not stop him but he will respect Whitaker's punches

I wasn't saying that Kostya WOULD beat Pernell... I just think you guys are writing off Tszyu too easily... I think he has a decent chance of winning, and Whitaker has a good chance at winning too... I really think it could go either way

Whitaker beats Tszyu on points easily. This isn't like speculating about a Mayweather/Tszyu match. Whitaker was on another level than Kostya. Now i'm not saying its a blowout, but Pernell wouldn't be very afraid of Tszyu's power, and this is maybe the greatest defensive fighter ever, so Kostya ain't gonna be landing much.

Sweet Pea took Tito's power, and was going toe to toe with Tito for a couple of rounds..are you saying that Tszyu hits harder than Tito?..that he will make Sweet Pea go into a shell?..Tszyu will be lucky if he can hit a prime Sweet Pea..let alone hurt him. Look at how foolish Sweet Pea made Oscar look he made Oscar miss like 8 straight punches in one sequence..

Tszyu was never tested as hard as Pernell. For example we can’t even compare JC Chavez of 1993 (Pea’s opponent) and JC Chavez of 2000 (Tszyu’s opponent).
Kostya has met the best contenders but he has never met true champions (Judah was slightly mad that night and showed nothing but nerves). Pernell had many fights of such level.
It’s a very important factor.
